Pricing Review Closes 1 November: Your Last Chance to Shape 2027-28 Prices
The Annual Pricing Review consultation closes 1 November. How to make a submission that actually counts.

The 2027–28 Annual Pricing Review consultation closes on 1 November 2026 via NDIS Engage — and then the conversation is over for a full year. Price limits set here shape your margins through to mid-2028, so this is the highest-leverage paperwork you'll do all quarter.
What's actually on the table
The review covers the Disability Support Worker Cost Model (with Fair Work and SCHADS Award flow-throughs), therapy price limits, SIL pricing, support coordination, and the growing question of differentiated pricing — including the proposed 10% reduction for unregistered support coordination providers from January 2027.
How to make a submission that counts
Bring numbers, not adjectives. The review panel discounts general complaints and weights evidenced cost data: wage bills, travel costs in remote delivery, supervision overheads, vacancy rates. A one-page table of your real costs beats ten pages of concern.
Answer their questions, not yours. Read the consultation paper first and respond to its specific prompts — off-topic submissions get filed, on-topic ones get quoted.
Coordinate with your peers. Ten near-identical submissions from similar providers in one region carry more weight than one polished outlier. Industry associations amplify; lone voices echo.
After 1 November
Decisions flow into the 2027–28 pricing schedules. Whatever lands, the providers who submitted will understand the reasoning — and spot the transition traps early. Everyone else finds out at implementation.
